Hitler launched a surprise invasion of Denmark and Norway. He said that the reason why is that it is to protect Denmark and Norway freedom and independence. But the real reason was to build bases to strike at Great Britain. -
France surrender
France was forced to surrender to Germany. Germany would control the northern part of France and control the government. -
RAF protects Britain
RAF shot down over 185 Germany planes. The RAF is the Britain’s Royal Air Force. They used radar to plot the Germans flight path.
