Munich Agreement
Hitler invited French premier Édouard Daladier and British prime minster Neville Chamberlain to meet him in Munich. They talked about Sudetenland. They didn't want to start war so they both took Hitlers word that this was his last territorial demand. They then gave Sudetenland to Germany without a shot being fired. -
Germans bomb Poland
On September 1 Hitler sent his bombers over Poland. They bombed major military points. -
Britain and France declared war
Two days after the terror in Poland France and Britain declared war in Germany. -
Hitler attacks Denmark
All of a sudden on April 9th Hitler Invaded Denmark and Norway. He did it for the protection of their freedom. -
France Surrenders
On June 22nd France finally surrendered to Germany. Germans would then occupy northern France and set up Government in the south. -
RAF fight back in the air
Ok September 15th the RAF shot down 185 German planes and only losing 26 of their own.
