The Missouri Compromise allowed any state below Missouri to be a slave state and anything above to be a free state. The Missouri Compromise showed that slavery and expansion into new areas was going to be an issue that divided people. GA.textbook -
Georgia Platform

The KKK was a terrorist organization, and founded by former confederate general Nathen Bedford in Tennessee then came to Georgia. The KKK originated in the south, and terrify blacks.
