Martin HD-28E retro
Traded in 2009 Martin D-28 which had K&K pure mini and strap button added. Reason for switch: HD-28e has built in Fishman Aura1+ electronics and High Performance neck with 1 3/4" at nut. The D-28 with 1 11/16" neck width at nut was not as playable. HD-28e retro also has scalloped forward-shifted bracing which makes it more "boomy." Special ordered from Madison Music, Madison, WI. -
McPherson Sable honeycomb guitar
On April 25th I traveled to Dave's Guitar Shop in Milwaukee and traded the 2011 RainSong BI-WS1000N2 for this McPherson. McPherson's are made in Sparta, Wisconsin and this carbon fiber beauty sounded much better than the RainSong.
