Cones
- A cone is a solid three demential figure, that has a circle base and a single vertex.
- Right cone: When the vertex is over the center of the base.
- Oblique cone: When the vertex is not centered with the base.
-
Cylinder
- Is a geometric solid figure, that is very common in everyday life (ex: soup can).
- There are two bases, that are usually circular and are always congruent and parallel to each other.
- If you were to 'unroll' a cylinder is would be a flattened rectangle.
- Right cylinder: When the two bases are exactly over each other and the axis is at a right angle.
- Oblique cylinder: When the two bases are not directly over each other and the axis is at a slant.

Sphere
- Sphere's are perfectly symmetrical.
- All points on the surface are the same distance from the center.
- It has no edges or vertices (corners).
- It only has one surface.
- It is not a polyhedron.
-
Triangular Prism
- Is a prism composed of two triangular bases and three rectangular sides.
- There are nine distinct nets.
- Is a space filling polyhedron.
-
Rectangular Prism
- A solid (3-deminsional) object which has six faces that are rectangles.
- It has the same cross section along a length, which makes it a prism.
- It is also a 'cuboid'.
-
Cube
- A solid with six congruent square faces.
- Each face has four equal sides and all four interior angles are right angles.
- A cube has 12 edges, which is when a line segment is formed where two edges meet.
- A cube has 8 vertices, which is when a point is formed where three edges meet.
