Sanger and her staff were arrested for having a birth control clinic. She was convicted in 1917, she only served one month but it won her the heart of women all around. Having the case made her known and also made it aware that she was fighting for girls every where. -
Margeret Sanger
Margeret Was the women who founded the American Birth control legue. She is the one every girl that doesn;t want to get pregnate has to thank. She put planned parenthood into motion. If a women wanted to wait to have a kid she finally could. It all depends more on the girl and she is the one helping us get to there. -
Mary McLead Bethure
Mary was the women who first started the organize the National council of Negro Women. Mary wanted to create a place that all of the organizations could come together and become one istead of fight different battles they could all fight together. This helped keep them going so that none of them just fell ap\art. -

law suits on birth control
The federal law started to prohibit birth control. Through out the 40's and the 50's there was many law suit on women getting birth control. This is one of the major acts the women wanted to fight for because it was what they wanted. They had to many men telling them what to do and what they could do with their body's it was finally enough. If the women wanted to take the birth control they can it all depends on what that one girl that was taking it wanted. They fought harder and hared for it -
approved pills
On may 9th The food and drug administation approves Birth control pills. The women that wanted the pill were able to finally get the pill. It was put in to action to take it to a new level so women were able to go and buy it. There was still complication on having the women able to buy it from any clinic because most didn't want to but that was just more for women to fight for. -

Kennedy Has many speeches telling about all the things he is doing for women. He established "The president's commission on the status of women" And made Eleanor Roosevelt as chairman. Kennedy made it easier for women to be equal.
