• Body Shaming

    Body Shaming
In this photo you can see there was some sort of social pressure ( still is) on woman and there bodies. Ads were much more outspoken and vulgar about what was acceptable and "appealing" to look at and put a kind of pressure on woman to be slim or skinny. Seeing ads like this is sad and shameful, because woman have the right to look the way they want without feeling like they must change themselves. That is a right, and definitely plays in the Woman Rights Movement.
  • Its a Mans World

    Its a Mans World
This photo represents how the mans word is the right word. Being told how to look and how a "wife" should act was something to be very common in society, and put woman at the bottom of the scale of having an opinion or a choice. That was exactly what the Woman's Rights Movement was fighting for.
  • Is it wrong to kill a woman?

Is it wrong to kill a woman?
Considering how vile and sad this question is, it was published as a ad in the media back in the 50's. Questioning whether a woman's life, or even a human's life in general is up for question is unfair and shows you how little regard people had for a woman's life.
  • This is what Wives are for!

This is what Wives are for!
Having woman purely being used to clean and cook is a outdated ideology, but was suitable and acceptable back then. It was important for woman to fight and educate to try and flip the common stereotype and gain back their rights as a woman
  • Men are better than Women!

    Men are better than Women!
This is another example of woman being inferior of men, only because it bluntly says " Men are better than Women" without any time of passive aggressiveness in the title or description. It was another add pushing the agenda that woman won't amount to anything.
  • Coffee Pleasing

    Coffee Pleasing
It seems in the 60's it was very common to simply kiss and please men to the best of your ability. Advertising coffee, but yet intriguing woman to buy it to satisfy their husband at home shows you who's in power. It was never the other way around. Woman know fought hard enough to get these dangerous agendas out of the media.
  • Women can understand technology?

    Women can understand technology?
In this picture, the ad is advertising the equipment, but also making it "appealing" to buyers because woman "can't understand" and are incapable of learning such technology, and somehow convinces you enough that it's easy to use and intriguing. Now, woman are taking over job opportunities normally men take up and are no longer being scrutinized for it.
  • Women are Inferior of Men

Another ad saying woman can't reach anything
  • Assertive Power

This picture looked extremely creepy to me, only because there's a bunch of men surrounded by one stripped down woman in a circle. It's uncomfortable to see, and shows you how comfortable men are to assert their power and feel welcome to do so. It signifies woman are not in power and men are in the dominant handle.
  • 2015 Just Kiss me?

This lipstick ad , tells me it's okay to just kiss any woman and its wanted whenever. Kind of similar to Trumps comments about woman, men feel obligated to assert their power and feel comfortable doing so.
