Assination of the Duke
was assinated June 28, 1914, was gunned down at a parade. His death started WW1. The person who murdered him wasn;t going to murder him but during a parade they took the wrong turn and he thought it was fait. -
Never went to war
Rex bixby was never in actual battle although ranked a lieutenant. He was in the National Guard 2 1/2 years before enlisting. -
Seperate Tanks
Tanks were seperated by gender. Men had cannons, while woman had machine guns. This wasn't fair to the woman as they rarely ever get credit for WW1. -
Yellow skin
most people who worked with TNT got a cancer that made there skin turn yellow. This is called jaundice, there was no cure at this time so many people just died. -

It is heard that explosions from a battle in France could be heard in London. -

The battle of of Verdun is consdered the greatest and lengthiest in world history. There was over 700,000 casualties, The battle, which lasted from 21 February 1916 until 19 December 1916. -

Germany signs
Germany signs Treaty of versailles, which was a peace treaty at the end of World War I. It ended the war between Germany and the Allied Powers. It was signed on 28 June 1919, exactly five years after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. -
