    Germany, Austria-Hungrey, and the Ottamen Empire are involved in this group. It is a Political alliance. The purpose of the Central powers is to regain lost teritories. They faught against France, Great Britain, and Russia in 1914.
  • Czechoslovakia (devolution)

    Czechoslovakia (devolution)
    The type of devolution in the coutry was both economical and political. The countries created were the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The broke apart because the wanted to join the EU (europian union). They knew that they would gain more money if they had joined separtely instead of together.
  • Ireland/U.K. (Devolution)

    Ireland/U.K. (Devolution)
    The U.K. did have control over Ireland, and then Ireland went through some major cultural changes. In 1923 they experienced an uprising/rebellion. Twenty-six of the countries became independent, and 6 still remain under British control (Northern Ireland). This was a cultural devolution.

    The countries in this group are the United States, Soviet Union, Britian, China, & France, and many more. This is a political alliance. The purpose of this group is to protect the members of the group from aggretion between eachother.

    (Palistine Liberation Organization) The regions involved inthis organization are Ireal, West Bank, adn the Gaza Strip. This is a Political organization. The purpose of this group is to seek to establish an independant state for palistinians.

    (Islamic Cofference Organization) The countries ion thuis group are Afganastan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakastan, many parts of north Africa, and many more. This is a cultural alliance. The purpose of this alliance is to promote Islamic solidarity by using social, economical, and cultural activities. They also wanted to eliminate racial segrigation.

    The palestines had been trying to get their own country for a while so finally on November 15, 1988 Yassar Arafat proclaimed the states independence. The Isrealites granted the Palestines an autonomy. This devolution occured because of cultural reasons, the Palistines didn't want to be under Jewish rule.

    Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, and many other countries where created from the break up of the Soviet Union. It was caused by a failer of good political or social stability. This let republics break away from it. This was a Politcal/Military Devolution.

    (North America Free Trade Association) The three countries in NAFTA are the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This is an economical alliance. The purpose of this alliance is to eliminate most tariffs and barriers between the countries, creating a free trade block.

    Scottland and U.K (devolution)
    This was an economic devolution. U.K. gave Scottland autonomy, but wouldn't grant them independence, because Scottland has access to the northern sea. The northern sea was a big oil source, and the U.K. got a lot of money from having control over it, but Scottland only got a share of the money, and they wanted more. Scottland formed a rebellion, and recieved autonomy.
