Gaming Systems Progression (2000-2010)

  • Nintendo Game Cube

    Nintendo Game Cube
This system had all the best Nintendo games but, with the games not being a disk and the controller being connected to the cube didn't allow you to really be comfortable when you were playing.
  • Xbox 360

    Xbox 360
This system was the first Xbox to allow third-party games such as Halo, Gears of War, and Dead Rising.
  • PlayStation Portable (PSP)

    PlayStation Portable (PSP)
This was Sony's big attempt to take over Nintendo and compete with the DS but the PSP was ahead of its time.
  • PlayStation 3

    PlayStation 3
The PlayStation 2 was the most-sold console ever and the PlayStation 3 was a big disappointment. The majority of people said that the PS3 had no games to play on it compared to the PS2. The positive was it was the cheapest option at the time.
  • Nintendo Wii

    Nintendo Wii
this system is what the GameCube wasn't. This system allowed for the controller to be handheld and you can move around with it like with the bowling game or other games that required you to be more interactive with the system.
