Game History Timeline

  • Birth

I was born here. Probably one of the more significant days in my life. Probably.
  • World of Goo

World Of Goo is a game that was release on October 13th 2008, made by the indie game developer 2D boy. This game is one of, if not, the first video game I remember seeing. I would watch my dad play it on our old blocky computer, and its simple puzzle style gameplay was simple enough for my older brother and I do understand at a much younger age, so eventually I was able to play it too. 2D-Boy 2008, World Of Goo, video game, Windows, 2D-Boy.
  • Mariokart Wii

In 2010 my family got their first console, the Nintendo Wii. And with it came Mario Kart Wii. This was the first multiplayer game I had ever played, and I frequently played it with my brother. I would never win but it was still fun. The game released in 2008 by Nintendo, but I had played it two years after it's release. Nintendo 2008, Mario Kart Wii, video game, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo.
  • Minecraft

Despite being released in 2011 by Mojang, I was introduced to it by a friend on his PC in 2014, and it was terrifying seeing the zombies and monsters. It was only until 2015 when my friends and I got our own laptops, where we started playing Minecraft much more frequently throughout the rest of my primary school years. This game truly built many social connections in my younger years. Mojang Studios 2011, Minecraft, video game, Windows, Mojang Studios.
  • Hero Quest

Hero quest is an old fantasy adventure board game released in 1989. I was introduced to it by an old neighbour, in which some of my family would have game nights with him playing this game. Its role playing aspects are somewhat similar to DnD but it uses physical items like cards, and pieces. This has been the most influential board game that I have ever played. • Read Dead Redemption 2

I played Read Dead Redemption 2 after numerous friends practically begged me to play it. It was released in 2018 by Rockstar Games, and it is a beautiful open world game, with a highly engaging and emotional story. It is a sequel to the first game Read Dead Redemption, but it is canonically set before the first game, so it manages to be both a sequel and a prequel simultaneously.
