Fought between the Axis forces (Germany and Italy). This battle was a turning point of World War II. The Battle of El Almein was a surprise attack so the German forces was forced to fall back. Allies were able to launch the Operatio Torch after the Battle of El Alamein. -
D-Day
The Germans were attacked by the Allied force. This assault was led mostly by the airborne infantry. Germans were attacked also from the naval forces; Germans were defeated. Germans did not expect an attack because the weather was very bad at that day. This operation was like a legend for the previous British and Canadian troops. -

Battle of the Bulge was the bloodiest battle throughout World War II. The Battle of the Bulge took place at The Ardennes,Belgium,Luxembourg and Germany.Though Germans believed in improving air conditions and their air force, Germans were defeated by the allied force. -
V-E day
On May 8th, 1945, Victory in Europe was declared. There were street parties in most of the cities and celebrated the final end of the war.
