The Fall of France
As Gemany pushes France hard, France's resistence starts to weaken. Fianlly, France surrenders and Germany takes over the northren part of France, leaving the sourthern part of it to Charles de Gaulle, a French general. -
The Battle of Britain/ Operation of Sean Lion
Germany attacks Britain after France's defeat. Although Germany hit hard on Britain, Britain doesn't surrender and keet hitting back hard. Because of Britain's tanaciousness, Germany calls off the attacks. This event taught a lesson to Allies that Germany's strike could be blocked. Because of Germnay's defeat, Operation of Sea Lion is postponed, and is never accomplished. -
Operation of Barbarossa
Hitler's plan to invade Soviet Union. Soviet retreat because the attack was too surprising and they weren't well equipped and trained. Germany uses the strategy to destroy everything in Soviet's path. Hitler doesn't gain any profit as a result. -
The Battle of Stalingrad
The endless battle between Germans and Soviets taken place in Stalingrad, the major industrial center of Volga River in Russia. German invaded almost the whole city until Soviets counterattacked and cut off Germany's supplies and equiments, forcing them to surrender. This battle gave a chance to Soviets to push back. -
The Battle of El Alamein
A battle between British troops and Germany troops in Egyptian village. Allies launched a surprise, massive frontal attact, so the Axis fell back. Because of victory in the Battle of El Alamein by Allies, they were able to lauch a Operatio Torch. -
The D -Day
The invasion of Normandy planned by Britain, U.S, France and Canda to liberate France from Germany. This event gave an advance to Allies, and gave a hope to win the World War II. -
The Battle of the Bulge
As Germans faced two fronts war, Russia on the Northeast and France on the Southwest, they tried to break up weak American lines, but Allies pushed back. Unfortunately, Germans had no options, but to retreat. -
V-E Day
Allies and Russia kept attacking Germany aggressively and forcefully. At last, Russia surrounded Germany's capital from the east and Allies approached Berlin from the southwest. Hitler commited suicide and Germany finally surrenderd. This marked the end of World War II.
