Women's work
Women are to provide for the children. The women had the little girls practice carrying a child on their back as a decoy for when they need to carry their little brothers. Women also shape their child’s head and facial structures; they stretch their faces and pull down the noses. -
Men work
The father is distant when the child turns 2 years old. Their job is to care for the herd. When the boy grows older they take care of cattle. -
Daily clothing
They wear amulets called Lohol, and they are protective and decorative. Women wear heavy, twisted heavy earring, called Dibi, gold necklaces called Caaka and wear copper or white metal bracelets. Men wear black and red herdsman hats that had a geometrical cross on that had a geometrical cross on it. Men also wear baggy fabric pants. -
Diet
Their diet consists of dairy products which include milk, butter, yogurt. They would drink milk every morning and eat a meal of porridge that is made of corn, grains. They eat soup made from tomato, onions, spices, peppers, and other veggies. -
Artistic expression
They would wear big decorative hoops that would have a color match to bring out the creativity that the women did. They also wore jewelry on their hair and on their head they had decorative spheres that wrapped all around. -
Fulani Empire
The new empire was passed on to Muhammad Bello and changed the empire to Sokoto Caliphate. It became unpressure and traditional trade paths were destroyed. Sokoto was booted and the empire collapsed and were divided into the French and British.
