The English Longbow
The English Longbow was used by the English and the Welsh for hunting and battle. From 1340-1415, the longbow served as a powerful weapon in battle, due to its abilty essemble larger amounts of deaths quicker. Knowing this, the longbow could be compared to the essembly line. -
The Maxim Gun
After the Gatling gun was invented, the Maxim gun was invented by Sir Hiram Stevens Maxim. This was the first automatic gun because the gatling gun had to be cranked in order to fire it. -
The Assembly Line
In 1913, Henry Ford installed the first assembly line in his factory to mass produce a car. The assembly line helped to create more product in a shorter amount of time. -
World War II
During World War II, Hitler was a feared dictator in Germany. He searched to create the ultimate race, blonde with blue eyes. In an attempt to rid of those who did not fit this category, mostly jews, Hitler used the assembly process to ship large amounts of people off trains, organize them, and then kill slaughter them or work them to death. -
World War II
In order to beat hitler's Nazi army, countries such as the United States used machines guns such as the Browning, the Lewis Gun, and the M1A1 Thompson. All of these modern guns link back to their origin, the Maxim Gun.
