Nick get s his classmates to turn the classroom into a tropical place complete with sand and volleyball. -
4th Grade Blackbird Peep
Nick discovers he can make a high pitched sound like a bird that drives his teacher crazy. She can never figure out where the noise is coming from. -
5th grade with Dangerous Grangerous
Nick's language arts teacher is Mrs. Granger. she loves the dictionary and makes her students work hard. -
The Report
Nick does a report for Mrs. Granger on the dictionary. He uses it to waste time, but this gets him thinking about where words really come from. -
The Big Idea
Nick finds a pen and decides to call it Frindle. He gets his friends to help him get this word started. -
Word Wars=Detention
Students at Lincoln use the word Frindle. Mrs. Granger gives detentions, but this does not stop them. The parents and school are in an uproar. -
In the News
Judy Morgan goes to Lincoln Elementary to find out about Frindle and the detentions. She writes an article and Nick and his word begin to spread and become famous. -
TV Fame
Nick is interviewed on TV and Frindle goes nation wide. -
7th Grade Cafeteria Plans
Nick decides to go with a good idea. He gets students to stop buying school lunch until the cafeteria does a better job. Nick is back to his old self. -
Things Settle Down
Things settle down and frindle is an everyday word in Westfield. But, Nick has changed and is afraid of his own ideas.
