  • Publication of hobbes work

    Hobbes printed his work and started giving it out. This gave everyone a chance to see his ideas.

    This was a pledge that all the revolutionists signed. It brought them together and united them under a paper that meant something to all of them.

    The bastille was stormed by mob of people and also a group of woman.
  • King removed from Versailles

    The King was having a banquet and Versailles was stormed. A lot of women also formed together to storm the house.
  • 1st use of the Guillotine

    The guillotine is a ancient method of gravity. All it is is a knife coming straight down on the neck.
  • Establishment of Committee of Public Safety

    This committee formed the de facto executive government in France. It was basically the first new government
  • Republican Calendar Began

    This was a new calendar. New ideas and dates formed into its existence.
  • Execution of King Louis XVI

    King Louis executed on the guillotine. The guillotine is an old fashioned chopping block that basically has a blade that is raised high and then dropped straight down on the neck of a human.
  • Robespierre Killed

    Robespierre one of the most well known revolutionists. His death was tragic to a lot of people.
  • Establishment of the Directory

    This is the french revolutionary government. It stayed in place for four years.
  • Napoleonic Code

    French civil code established by Napoleon. It was basically a constitution.
  • Napoleon becomes Emperor

    Napoleon is first crowned emperor. He had a lot of power over the army before he was crowned but rbi is official.
  • Continental System

    The Continental System or Continental Blockade was the foreign policy of Napoleon I of France against the United Kingdom during the Napoleonic Wars.
  • Napoleon Exiled

    France was invaded and Napoleon was forced to retreat. He then was forced to be exiled in Elba
  • Waterloo

    Fought in present day Belgium. Most well known war in French revolution.
  • Napoleons Death

    Napoleons died. His reign was ended and he went down with a bang.
  • Formation of the National Assembly

    Low house of parliament France. The high part or above seat is the senate.
