The Directory comes into power

The Directory, created by a new constitution, assumes the role of governing France until November 10, 1799, when it is overthrown by Napolean Bonaparte. During its reign of government, it only held legislative power. -
Napoleon escapes from assassination

There were a lot of threats for Napoleon when ruling France. There was a bomb attempt that nearly killed him on this date. -
Code Napoleon
Date Released: 21 March 1804 In it, there were no differences at birth, there was freedom of religion and special government jobs went for the most qualified. It was a big step for the government. -
Battle of Trafaglar
Date: 21 Oct 1805 People: Napoleon, British Royal Navy and the French and Spanish Navy and their leaders It occurred between the British Royal Navy vs. the French and Spanish Navy combined. It was during the War of the Third Coalition of the Napoleonic Wars. British Navy defeated Napoleon´s, although Nelson was killed. -
