Oath of Tennis Court
Many Members of the Third Estate decided that they did not like how they were being treated. They decided to stick with each other no matter what. it was signed by 576 people. It showed that they would not stop until constitution was made. -
Storming of Bastille
The Bastille was a large fortress containing weaponry and other military related things. The Third Estate was not happy with the government to say the least. They Created and stormed an attack on this fortress in a violent fashion. It has gone down as one of the largest rebellions in history. -
D.R.O.M (Declaration of the Rights of Man) is issued
Drafted and signed by Marquis de Lafayette, Abbé Sieyès, and Thomas Jefferson, the Declaration stated the freedoms that man should have today, that the National Assembly wanted. These consisted of Freedom of Religion, speech etc. -
Royal Family is arrested
A small, yet important event shows how strong the Third Estate had become. The royal family basically got scared, and tried to flee. The N.A stopped, and arrested them. -

The leaders of the country were trying to find reasons to have war. They thought it would unify the country, -
Louis XIV Execution
Louis STILL wasn't helping the Third Estate. Since they had growing power, they could easily take over people. They give him one last chance, which he does not take. They behead him in public. Ouch. -
Robespierre is beheaded
France has a HUGE army now, and is winning basically every single battle they have. Robespierre (one of their biggest enemys) has gotten on their last nerve. He is beheaded in public, for trying to take over everything. Ouch. -

Someone FINALLY takes them over. Napolean takes over, and begins to become a superpower
