An erratic period of executions for the most minimal crime or sometimes no crime at all. Basically any opposition towards the revolution was punishable by public execution by the guillotine. -

The newly elected Republic of France brought Louis to trial for crimes against the people. He was later sent to be publicly executed by the guillotine. -

Approved by the National Constituent Assembly. Described all natural rights posessed by man. -

Napoleon's greatest victory when the French Empire defeated the Third Coalition. Defeated Russo- Austrian army and General Tsar Alexander. -
Invasion of Spain
55,000 Frenchmen crossed over into Spain. They were allowed to cross over the terms of the Franco- Spanish Alliance until their truw intentions of overtaking Spain were revieled a dew days later. -
Invasion of Russia
Was a turning point in the Napoleonic Wars because it weakened the French and its allies. The French won most of the minor battles and one major battle but the Russians still prevented the movement towards its capital. -
Exile to Elba
The Coalition invaded France and forced Napoleon to the island Elba. Less than a year later he escaped and returned to power. -
