Many women marched thousands of miles to Versailes. They were armed with broomsticks, lances, pitchforks and many more things. They just wanted food and for King Louis 16th to sign the DRM.

The thousands of women broke through the gates and started slaughtering the guards heads. Theywere cut off and put on pikes. King Louis 16th and his wife Marie were captured and were forced to sign the DRM.

The Great Escape attempt
T The National Assembly kept making King Louis 16th sign law after law till he lost almost all of his power. He finally got sick and tired of being pushed around.The king and his family took the royal carriage and headed for Austria. They made it to the border but someone spotted them and he got captured.
