The khaki election was an election for the new pm, It was between Sir Robert Borden from the Conservative party and Sir Wilfred Laurier from the Liberal party. Sir Robert Borden needed votes so he introduced the military voters act, the wartime elections act. In the end Sir Robert Borden won and both parties came together to form a union government however conscription still toke place. -
