Boston Tea Party
a group of 30 to 130 men, some dressed in the Indigenous Americans(Mohawk warrior disguises), boarded the three vessels and, over the course of three hours, dumped all 342 chests of tea into the Boston Harbor. -
Intolerable Acts
The Intolerable Acts were 4 laws put in place by the British Parliament to punish Massachusetts's Bay for the Boston Tea Party. -

Battle of Yorktown
Cornwallis hoped to keep his men in the Chesapeake town until fresh supplies and reinforcements could arrive from Britain. The French and the Americans conspired to capture the British before that could happen. Soon outnumbered British troops surrendered. -
Treaty Of Paris
The Treaty of Paris was signed by U.S. and British Representatives on September 3, 1783, ending the War of the American Revolution. The agreement recognized U.S. independence and granted the U.S. significant western territory. -
3/5 Compromise
The 3/5 compromise showed 3 out every 5 slaves were counted when determining a state's total population. -
