It was named this as it pitted the British against the French and its Native allies. This war was fought where the British and the French colonies met, from Virginia to Nova Scotia. -
Battle of Jumonville Glen
The opening battle of the French and Indian War. It took place in present-day Uniontown, Pennsylvania. There were 35 French soldiers and 52 English Soldiers. 1 killed and 3 wounded on English while most French were captured or killed. The British won. -

This was a meeting of the representatives from the 7 northern colonies out of the thirteen. They met at Albany, New York which gives the name "Albany Congress." This was to discuss ways to have better relations with the French and Native tribes. -

Attack on Fort Necessity
It took place in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. It was led by George Washintgon. It was built on alpine meadow, west of the summit from the pass through Allegheny Mountains. There were 600 French and Indians of which 3 were killed and 19 were wounded. There were 31 killed and 369 captured on English side. It took place in present-day Farmington, Pennsylvania. -

This attack was led by the French General Louis-Joseph de Montcalm. This was located at the end of Lake George between the English and French border at New York and Canada. The British were led by the poorly supported army of Lieutenant Colonel George Monro. -

This was led by Brigadier-General John Forbes to try to capture Fort Duquesne. This was in present-day Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The French were led by Major James Grant. -
Plains of Abraham
They are named after Abraham Martin and are in present-day Quebec City in Canada. Its dimensions are 1.5 mi long by 0.5 mi wide 108 acre. It extends west of the Citadelle of Quebec along plateau, above the Saint Lawrence River and forms a part of The Battlefields Park. -

Governor General Pierre, Marquis de Vaudreuil-Cavagnal surrendered the French colony today known as Canada which led to the signing of the Treaty of Paris. -

Signed after Britain's win over France and Spain in the Seven Years' War by Great Britain, France, Spain, and Portugal in agreement. -
