    conference was impactful for Engel because it gave him a bit of an echo chamber to voice his opinions and ideologies. He was able to make a large claim to the proletariat class and it stuck, “WORKING MEN OF ALL COUNTRIES,
    UNITE!". This trip was significant for Engel, it got his name out into public with the right group of people as well as impacted his and marx's future studies of political economy (Li, 2020)

    Engel wrote "the housing question" to lay out his ideology on how the housing inequality was happening because of the capitalistic system. Engel claims in his text that the housing and government entities will twist and turn arguments and facts to fit their capitalistic ideologies. His ideologies from this pamphlet still come to light during current economic tragedies (Robbins, 2018)

    While Engel doesn't take much credit for these texts, volume 1, 2, and 3 were all heavily influenced by his way of thought. He dove heavily into a "systematic study of political economy" and in turn impacted Marx's writing and ideologies. (Li, 2020)
