    These battles basically signaled the alert of the American Revolutionary War. This was one of the deadliest battles and fiercest fighting that took place.

    The Declaration of Independence was adopted by the Continental Congress. This served the thirteen American colonies and their political connections to Great Britain.

    This was basically a war fought during the winter. The soldiers would help each other build shelter, but also there was a giant loss of food.

    The Battle of Yorktown was George Washington's victory over General Lord Charles Cornwallis. This battle lasted almost a month. It began on September 28, 1781, and ended on Ocot0ber 19, 1781.

    The Ratification of the Article of Confederation didn't finally occur until March 1st, 1781 when all 13 states occurred.

    All the states except for North Carolina and Rhode Island had been ratified. The Ocean State, however, was the last state to ratify, and that state ratified on May 29th, 1790.
