After fighting in the war, Forrest earned a Medal of Honor. This was given to the survivors of the Vietnam War. He later gives this to Jenny. -
Forrest Begins Shrimping
After leaving the army, Forrest begins shrimping. He feels that he must fulfill his promise to Bubba. Later on, Lieutenant Dan joins him. -
Forrest Runs Across the Country 4 Times
After Jenny leaves him, Forrest starts running. He decides to run until the road ends. Every time he reached the ocean, he would turn and keep running. -
Forrest and Jenny Mary
After meeting his son, Jenny proposes to Forrest. He accepts. They get married and Forrest meets Dan again. -

Jeny gets infected by an unknown virus. The doctors don't know how to treat it. She dies.
