Bombing of Pearl Harbor
World War 2 has already started and now Pearl Harbor has just been bombed. Trying to get there own emprie, the Jappanese bombed the Harbor but they failed. -
WASP form
After many regected proposals to get the WASP into the army, they were finally accepted. The group was formed to ferry aircraft across the country. -
Thomas goes off to war
Thomas,wanting to become a doctor, has just enlisted into the army to be a doctor there. Ida doesnt want her big brother to go. They cant be certain that he will come back alive or not. If he goes then it is just like loosing her dad all over again. -
Ida gets interveiwed
Pretending to be a white women for the first time, Ida Mae Jones is scared out of her mind. She doesnt knoew if this will work or not using her deaseased father's old flying license. She hopes for the best that she doesnt get found and that she just gets to fly. -
Ida goes to Sweetwater
Just getting accepted isn't enough, Ida has to go all the way from Slidell, Louisiana to Sweetwater, Texas to train to become a WASP. Seeing all of the whites only signs around Texas Ida gets worried that she might get her secrets found out. -
Ida makes friends
On her way to the base Ida makes o few friends Lily and Patsy. Ida is sick to her stomach thinking about her pretending to be a white woman and Patsy notices that she doesnt look to good. Patsy trys to take care of Ida. Later on Ida meets up with Lily and they become friends after Lily takes Idas swimming test for her. -
Ida has her solo flight
Ida is one more mission away from becoming a WASP and she is so nervous. She has to fly all the way from Avenger fields to California in only a couple hours. Being rushed by the instructor Ida is going through all of the check list and is hoping for the best that she can get to where she needs to be in time. -
Patsy dies
Hours after coming back from thier last mission, Ida and Lily start to worry for Patsy. She hasnt come back from her solo flight. Suddenly they see her but she cant see the and when Patsy trys to land the plane sparks due to the leaking fuel. Patsy's plane bursts into flames and there is nothing that Ida and Lily can do to save her. She has just died -
Russia pushes into Poland
The war has been going on for a while now and Russia is begining to push thier way into Poland. Russia is trying to attack agianst Poland to end the war. -
Ida and Lily become WASP
A couple days after Patsy dies and they have her funeral Lily, Ida and all of the other trainies that completed their last mission become WASP. -
Lily gets married
After becoming a full-fledged WASPthe two girls,Lily and Ida, go on another one of their missions. Before they get to their destination they have to make a quick stop in Pensilvania so that Lily could get married.Lily and her fiance had already planned to get married after the war but they just couldn't wait. -
Thomas goes missing
Thomas has been a doctor in the army for about a year now. At the base where Ida is training her mother comes to deliver her some disturbing news.Her mother has to tell Ida that her brother has just gone missing in the Philipeanes and that she might be able to help find him. Being in the WASP she might be able to get the army to help her find her brother. -
Ida goes home
After a long and hard training, Ida finally became a WASP and to celebrate she went back home to see her family. She had a pleasent suprisse when she walked through the door and saw Thomas sitting there with his broken ribs and bruised body. -
Flying the B-29
Wanting to drop a bomb on a targeted area, the army sent some flyboys to fly the B-29 over Hiroshima,Japan to try and end the war. -
World War 2 ended
World war 2 has just ended and that means no more flying for Ida. Fierce fighting went on in the Pacific Islands. Damage was so terrible after allies dropped atomic bombs on two jappanese cities that they had to surrender.
