Soldiers: They had to put up to the horrible trench foot and the rats that eventually ate the dead bodies. They often had lice and rotten food.
Women: Women were allowed to work as nurses, cooks, ambulance drivers and building up guns for the soldiers. They were allowed to fight in SOME countries. -

Germany had to accept the blame for starting the war (clouse 231).
Germany had to pay 10 billion for the damage done during the war and was forbidden to have submarines or air forces.
It could have the navy of only six battleships and an army of just 100,000 men.
Germany lost territory in europe and colonies were given to britain and france. -
