Milford School denied the Good News Club to have it's clubs meetings due to their religious practices that the club preforms. The court determined that the School violated the Clubs Freedom of Speech right. -

Locke v. Davey
The Court ruled that a state does not violate the First Amendment’s free exercise clause when it funds secular college majors but excludes devotional theology majors. The court can to a conclusion to reject Davey's agreement stating that the scholarship program is unconstitutional do to them not being open to more religions. -
City of San Diego v. Roe
The court came to a conclusion that firing Roe did not violate his freedom of speech. The stated that government employers can restrict their employees’ speech that would be unconstitutional if applied to the general public. But government employees had the right to speak on matters of public concern. -
Gonzales v. O Centro Espirita Beneficente
The Court held that the government had failed to prove regulating the UDV’s use of drugs for religious purposes. The court rejected the government’s argument that the Controlled Substances Act could accommodate no exceptions. However they stated the Court is required by the RFRA to examine individual religious freedom claims and grant exceptions to generally-applicable laws where no compelling government interest can be shown. -

The Court held that the requirement that nongovernmental organizations wishing to receive funding from the federal government for HIV and AIDS programs overseas adopt a policy explicitly opposing prostitution violates the First Amendment. -
McCullen v.Coakley
The Court ruled that a Massachusetts law which makes it a crime to stand on a public road or sidewalk within thirty-five feet of a reproductive health care facility violates the First Amendment. -
Walker v. Sons of Confederate Veterans
The Court held that the government of Texas was entitled to reject a proposal for a license plate featuring a Confederate battle flag, as Texas’ specialty license plate designs constitute government speech. -
Packingham v. North Carolina
The Court ruled that a North Carolina law prohibiting registered sex offenders from accessing social media violates the First Amendment.
