Oedipus
Oedipus was a Greek play. In the play, Oedipus tries to escape his fate but it ends up coming back to him. Along the way, he accidentally killed his father and married his mother. Then his mother-wife killed herself and he stabbed his eyes out. -

Tertullian was an author who participated in Christian propaganda writing and also wrote many books that served as guides for literature and what christians should be watching, one such book was called "De Spectaculis". -

Everyman
Everyman was a morality play written in about the salvation of Christians. It uses allegorical characters to answer certain questions of salvation. It inspired many adaptations fo the play including a modern production that was performed in Britain, Broadway, and toured through North America.
