Garden of Eden: beginning of sin
This is where the first sin took place. Adam and Eve talked to a serpent who convinced the two to eat the bad fruit to disobey God and cause the first sin ever. After this, things went downhill: animals died, Cain killed his brother Abel, and Adam and Eve didn’t feel comfortable not being clothed. If this never happen, there probably would have never been sin in the world. -
Present Day: Great Disappointment
The Great Disappointment in the Millerite movement was the reaction that followed Baptist preacher William Miller's proclamations that Jesus Christ would return to the Earth by 1844, what he called the Advent. Many people believe him and decide to sell all of their belongings because they believed that Jesus was coming. When they day came, Jesus did not return and many people were disappointed. In result, many people lost faith in Jesus coming back and lost faith in Him -
Jesus’ 2nd Coming
When Jesus returns, everyone will know. It says in 1st Thessalonians 4:16 (For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. As you can see, there will be visible, glorious, sudden and unexpected return of Jesus Christ. -
Millennium: 1,000 years
Many things are going to happen during this time. Saints reign with Christ, Judgement of the wicked, Satan’s time for reflection, and more. Also, after the 1,000 years Christ and His people descend from Heaven ready to end Satan’s captivity. So then the sinners and Satan will attempt to attack on the city, causing there to be the Great Throne Judgement, but I’ll get into that more later. Lastly, Satan and the sinners will be destroyed and the earth will be cleansed of sin. -
The Great White Throne Judgment
The great white throne judgment is described in Revelation 20:11-15 and is the final judgment prior to the lost or wicked being cast into the lake of fire. We know from Revelation 20:7-15 that this judgment will take place after the millennium and after Satan is thrown into the lake of fire where the beast and the false prophet are (Revelation 19:19-20; 20:7-10). Once the wicked and Satan are judged, they will be destroyed. -
New Earth
The Bible talked about how there is a new world. It says, Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month, and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations."(Revelation 22: 1-2) All this will happen when sin is cleansed from the world.
