CGI is used to make movies look realistic
Although CGI was already being used in movies such as Toy Story and Finding Nemo, the way its used today is making a different history. In the movie of Avatar, CGI is used in a 3D motion to capture realistic face qualities. This has led to many movies that are not animated to use CGI to create a realistic character.
