Made by the greedy Thomas Edison, this technology changed the world forever, use for only one viewing at a time, the Kinetoscope was machine that let customers view images at the illusions of actual movement, the time span being around 30 seconds it was named the 'Peepshow' due to having the customer close one of their eyes. This changed how entertainment would be seen for the rest of time. -
Cinematography
Created by the Lumière brothers, this was a public screening room for people to sit and watch images move for 30 seconds or less, this was in contrast to Thomas Edison's 'Peepshow' which was made completely for material gain. -
Vaudeville
Small theaters that usually featured skits and comedy routines after a short film again around 30 seconds, other than that they slowly began to turn into "Nicklelodeons" in the 1900's. -
Nickelodeons
At this time, Nickelodeons popularity began to skyrocket, providing a great source of income and entertainment for both industry and society, furthermore, an escape for middle class citizens. -

The creation and effort in this movie changed the world, from it's usage of puppets and SFX, this changed the film industry to start utilizing more in their products to make a more engaging film, so they can fight against the episodic shows in T.V. -
VCR
Due to creation of this technology in the 1980's, lots of movies loss any money to be made, the VCR allowing home viewing caused many to wait until critics gave their rating in order to see if they truly wanted to see the movie. This changed when IMAX premiered later on, but for the most part they were simply waited on then bought through VCR.
