    Color spectrum
    In 1672 Isaac Newton released his experiments of the color spectrum. Newton discovered that prisms could disassemble and assemble white light. Newton described this in his book optics.

    The color wheel was created by Isaac Newton in 1706 when he arranged red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet into a rotating disc. As the disc would spin the colors would blur.

    First camera 1816
    The first camera was partially created by French inventor Joseph Nicéphore Niépce in 1816. Niépce used heliography to make special photographs that couldn't be duplicated. Since everyone was making things portable during the 1816s, Niépce decided to make a portable camera. The portable camera changed society as a whole.

    The first film was paper film created by George Eastman in 1885. The film was made out of paper which made it flexible and roll up. George Eastman was a successful entrepreneur, he founded the Eastman Kodak company. So when Eastman used paper roll film it made paper roll film common to use.

    The first stop motion feature film, directed by J. Stuart Blackton and Albert E. Smith in 1898. The Humpty Dumpty Circus lasted for 34 seconds. To make this stop motion films they used a series of pictures, of a person or object doing different things and connected them to make it seem like they were moving.

    The first Nickelodeon was created by Harry Davis in 1905. Nickelodeon became very popular through advertise they would use like posters. By 1910 they numbered 10,000 and the request for more films increased.

    In 1912 some short films would experiment with color. Not until the 1930's would they be used for films. Then in 1939 the Wizard of OZ was created in color.

    Jazz singer was the first talkie produced in 1927. Jazz singer is a musical drama that was directed by Alan Crosland. Jazz singer was influenced by "The Day of Atonement" by Samson Raphaelson.

    The Wizard of OZ was a musical fantasy film directed by Victor Fleming. Wizard of OZ was originally a Childs book until they adapted it into a motion film. The book was created by L. Frank Baum's in the 1900's.

    Jaws was released June 20, 1975. Jaws is a thriller created by Steven Spielberg. JAWS is about a shark attack on a boat. Were they used a robot shark that would break down when placed in water.

    Toy Story was Pixar's first full feature film. Toy Story was produced November 22, 1995. Toy story was written by John Lasseter, Pete Docter, Joss Whedon, Andrew Stanton, Joel Cohen, and Alec Sokolow, and directed by Lasseter.

    The development of Avatar started in 1994, while Cameron wrote an 80-page treatment for the film. Avatar was released December 18, 2009. Avatar was directed by James Cameron.
