    The first film to be created was "The Horse in Motion". It was series of pictures that were taken simultaneously. It was created to prove that a horse, at some point while galloping, has all four hooves off the ground.

    Paper film was the first flexible photographic roll film. Created by George Eastman, paper film was just a coating on a paper base. The image bearing layer was stripped from the paper and attached to a sheet of hardening clear gelatin.

    The CinemaScope is an anamorphic process that compresses and image during film, the uncompresses it when it's projected. It squeezes a wide image into 35mm film. Despite having more advanced technologies, the CinemaScope is still in use today.

    A rating system is created G, PG, R and X ratings. Eventually the X rating was changed to NC-17. Later on PG-13 was added.

    Invented by Garrett Brown, the Steadicam is a device that mounts a stabilized camera on a person that allows for free-reign to get clear, non-shaky shots. It was first used in the movie "Rocky". It's mainly used for getting smooth shots in any direction.

    "Titanic" is the most expensive film of all time. By 1998, it becomes the highest grossing film of all time. The movie is based the story of the original Titanic ship that sank in 1912.
