Ambikapathy
Requarded as one of the best films in pre-independence Tamil cinema, it is about Ambikapathy, a poet, who falls in love with the princess of the Chola Empire. King disapproves of their love challenges him to write and sing 100 poems about war and politics and none must contain any form of reference of love. He begins the test and sings 99 poems, but the counter mistakes the number to be one hundred. Victory was declared and the poet sings for the princess, counting 100. leading to his death. -
Sikandar
Sikander, also known as Alexander the Great, defeats Porus, the Indian King. Porus is asked how he would like to be treated, and replies by death. Sinkander, knowing that execultion is how a fallen king is given when defeated by a winner, is impressed and lets Prus free. Reguarded as an epic it the film's time, roused patriotic feelings during the tense political atmosphere of World War II. -
Mughal-e-Azam
An epic flm the became the highest grossing Bollywood film of all time, the first black-and-white Hindi film to be digitally colored, and the first in any language to be given a theatrical re-release. The film follows the life of Mughal Prince Salim and his affair with court dancer Anarkali, which his father, Emporer Akbar, highly disapproves of and leads to a war betwee father and son. -
Dharmputra

The movie is an adaption from real life events during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, following a band of 150 soldiers of the Punjab regiment of the Indian Army successfully defends their post against a whole Tank of the Pakistani Army.
