FFA Camp

FFA National Headquarters
28.5 acres of land was purchased near Alexandria, VA for the first FFA-owned national headquarters; the land was part of George Washington's estate. -

Jan Eberly, from California, became the first female national FFA president. -
Name Changes
The name changed from Future Farmers of America to the National FFA organization in order to show the growing diversity in the agriculture industry. -
Location of National Convention Changes
The National convention completes 7 year run in Indianapolis and returned to Loisville, Kentucky in 2012 for 3 years. -
Membership
The FFA membership was at its all time high with 557,318 members in 7,498 chapters.
