  • 1928

    -FFA established in Kansas City, MO
    -Leslie Applegate- first National FFA President
  • 1929

    • Official FFA colors established -national blue and corn gold -First Official FFA Manual of the organization written
  • 1930

    -The FFA Creed written by E.M. Tiffany
    -First Official Dress was adopted
    -Delegates are restricted to members to boys only

    -Blue corduroy jacket was adopted as FFA Official Dress

    -New Farmers of America founded in Tuskegee, AL.

    -28.5 acres of land purchased for the first FFA owned National Head Quarters. The land was a part of George Washington's estate
