The Lore, my path was a long one, with numerous applications for schools resulting in me almost abandoning it all and switching career choices.

Considered mechanic school since I liked cars and working on them

Graduated High School not knowing what to do for career choice

Got hired at Stanley Steemer as a Tech cleaning and moving furniture

Pay structure changes lead me to leave my job at and explore options elsewhere.

Became a Medication Technician at my TBI Facility and began reviewing MAR's and passing out medications to TBI patients.

Found a ROP program as a CNA and thought I could give it a try and maybe like it.

Completed my CNA program and passed my state exam. I began looking for work and started working as a Home Health Aide.

Didn't like Home Health, and moved to a Traumatic Brain Injury Rehab and saw some cool stuff so I stayed a while.

Thought it was a nice cool job and wanted to do more so I enrolled in community college for my prerequisites application for nursing school

Low Census at my facility forced me to explore other options of employment.

Signed on at my Palomar Health as a Cardiovascular Acute Care CNA

became a Licensed Phlebotomist as a change of pace but continued at Palomar Health

Transferred as a float pool CNA between the Palomar Health district and was exposed to every specialty.

Left Phlebotomy job due to conflicting school and work schedules.

Graduated from Miracosta College with my associates degree and all of my prerequisites done to apply for nursing school.
