The civil war was about equality and freedom of slaves and morality. the U.S was seperated into 2 parts at the time the confederacy and the union or known as the north and south. the south accepted slavery the north didn't and it sparked a war. -

The reconstruction treaty was made established for freedom of slaves and africans from the 5 tribes. It was also established for a better friendship amongst the U.S and the Native Americans of the 5 tribes. -
The dawes act
The dawes act was to take native land that was reserved for the natives and to break it up and sale it to people who were american settlers. The natives could have been offered their land if they were registered as U.S citizens but denied it. -
The oklahoma land rush
After the dawes act was passed and solidified men and women rushed to claim land and buy some native land. there would be 160 acres of land to each family, 80 per person over 18, 40 for any person under 18. -
The indian reorganization act
The indian reorganization act was to help organize self governing native american governments and have less federal power over the native government. It allowed natives to own over their land and be known as a form of government.
