Life as a child
Fannie grew up working as a slave on a plantation. All of ther family members were slaves. -

In 1944 she married her husband which was also a slave Perry Hammer -
Protesting
In 1962 Fannie went to her first protesting meeting -
Voting
On August 31 1962 Fannie and 17 others went to a court hose in Idaho to accomplish voting. -
Kicked off
During that event Fannie got kicked of her plantation because she tried to vote Fannie spoke " That was one of the best moments of my life" -
Injured
In 1963 Fannie was severely injured because she tried to vote. She suffered from bruises, scratches, and even kidney damage -
Dingoes
Fannie was dingoes with breast canser. During this hard time she still began to fight for her rights. -
Death
Sadly on March 14 1977 she passed away in Mound Bayou Mississippi hospital.
