The Rolling Stones are an English rock band formed in London in 1962. The band members are Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts. When they first started, their music was more R&B and the Blues but they turned out to have rock and roll music. A critic said that they were "rooted in traditional verities, in rhythm-and-blues and soul music.More ephemeral pop fashions have come and gone". They became popular in the states during the British Invasion. -

Queen is a british rock band formed in London in 1971. The past band members were Freddie Mercury and John Deacon. The present members are Brian May and Roger Taylor. Their earliest works were influenced by progressive rock but incorperated more diverse styles. Before joining Queen, Brian May and Roger Taylor were in a band called Smile. -

ACDC formed in 1973 in Sydney, Australia. The band members are Malcom Young, Angus Young, Phil Rudd, Cliff Williams and Brian Johnson. They are considered the pioneers of heavy metal. The album For Those About To Rock We Salute You was was there first album to reach the number 1 hit in America. There album Back in Black was the highest selling album. -

Bon Jovi is an American rock band from Sayreville, New Jerseyand formed in 1983. The band members are Jon Bon Jovi, David Bryan, Tico Torres and Richie Sambora. The band became known for writing several rock anthems and acheived widespread recogniation with their third album Slippery When Wet. The band went hiatus after the New Jersey tour in 1990 when Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora released solo albums. In 1992 the band returned. -

The band Green Day formed in the year 1987 in East Bay, California. The band members are Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool. Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt were in a band called Sweet Children when they were teenagers and had a different drummer John Kiffmeyer. They were named the Godfathers of Punk. They have won 5 grammy awards and have an American Idiot Broadway. -

They are one of the most commercially succesful canadien groups and are ranked the 11th best selling music act and the 2nd best foreign act behind The Beatles. -

There sound incorperates the elements of punk, emo ,glam metal and progressive rock. The band was assigned to Eyeball Records and a year later to Reprise Records. -

The Fray is an American rock band that formed in 2002 in Denver, Colorado. The band members are Issac Slade, Joe King, Davie Welsh and Ben Wysocki. There album How to Save a Life in 2005 was certified double platnium by the RIAA and platnium in Austrailia, New Zealand, Canada and the UK. The song How to Save a Life was charted in the top three of the Billboard Hot 100 and top five single in Australia, Ireland, Canada, Italy, Spain ,Sweden and th UK.
