Mars spirit rover

2004

The entire rover package hit the Martian surface at 04:26 UT on Jan. 4, 2004, at a velocity of about 46 feet per second bouncing 28 times before rolling to a stop. The Rover discovered a surprising variety of bedrock in Columbia Hills, showing a complex geological history of the region. Some of the rocks showed evidence of alteration by water.

I was born!

Dec 14, 2004

I was born in East Grand Rapids in the Metropolitan hospital. I was 6lbs 10oz and 21 inches long.

I moved

2005

I moved from our small house in East Grand Rapids to a bigger house in Byron Center.

Statrted walking

2006

I statred walking which meant my family had to keep a closer eye on me so I didn't get into things.

Broke my arm

2007

I broke my arm by jumping out of a baby swing when nobody was there to help me get out.

Started gymnastics

2008

I statred doing gymnastics classes at for the kids.

Went to disneyland

2009

My parents surprised my siblings and me with a trip to Disneyland.

Started Soccer

2010

I started playing soccer through a church team and I learned I really enjoyed it.

Started T-ball

2011

I wanted to try out some other sports so I tried to play t-ball and my dad helped coach.

First weekend without parents

2012

My grandparents took all of the grandchildren on a weekend trip out east. It was my first time without my parents and I missed them a lot.

First plane ride

2013

I went on my first plane ride with my family to florida for vacation.

Mom got in car accident

2014

This was a time I was really scared because I found out during school that my mom had gotten into a bad car accident.

I started babysitting

2015

I started watching some of my neighbors and my mom's work friends. I realized I really liked taking care of kids.

Grandma Died

2016

This was one of the hardest times in my life. My grandma was my best friend and after battling lung cancer for 14 years she passed away. I was grateful to be abe to speak at her funeral.

Zika Virus

2016

An epidemic of Zika fever, caused by Zika virus, began in Brazil and affected other countries in the Americas from April 2015 to November 2016.

Got braces

2017

I got braces which I was excited about because my siblings had them and I wanted them too. I learned that I didn´t like them but they helped a lot.

Broke arm and Went out west

2018

I broke my arm in a soccer game just a few hours before we had to leave for our out west trip. It was a long painful car ride.

Mom got cancer

2019

I found out that my mom had cancer and I was devidsted. It really changed me as a person and it was hard for me and my family to accept.

First homecoming

2020

I went to my first homecoming for my freshman year of highschool. It was so much fun and that's when I started becoming more interested in beauty.

Covid

2020

My freshman year of highschool was cut short in march due to covid which effected people for 2 years.

Got license and car

2021

I got my license and car which was really exciting and it was nice to be able to be more independant

Dog died

2022

This past year my dog was diagnosed with lung cancer and was given 2 weeks left to live. He was suffering so we decided to put him down the following weekend. This was devastating and it affected everyone in my family.
