I started to crawl
I began to crawl and I quickly followed my sister all around the house! -

Parents got Divorced
After about 6 years of marriage, my mom and my dad decided to get divorced. This means that my sister Hailey and I had to learn to adapt to their split custody. We went back and forth from their houses together. -
Started Kindergarten
I just moved to Byron Center and started my first year of schooling in BCPS. -
The first iPhone was introduced
This was a big change. It began the touch screen and mobile phone evolution. After this release, iPhone became very known and popular along with many other touch screen mobile phones. -
I started competitive gymnastics
This was the first year I got to compete in gymnastics, which I eventually continued to do for about 7-8 years. -
The election of Barack Obama
Barack Obama was the first president who was not caucasian. He was the first black president to ever be elected in the history of the United States. -
I went to my first summer camp with my best friend!
Although, I did not like to be gone from home very much, my best friend and I signed up for a short summer camp! It was only 2 days and one night. -
My mom got remarried
After being divorced from my dad for a couple years, my mom found someone she fell in love with and decided to get married to. This meant that I had some new family members! -
My step-sister was diagnosed with a form of Autism
My step-sister had always been hard to understand, but I didn't know why. During this year, I had to work hard to try to understand her and the Autism she had better -
My 4 pet snakes died.
Although they all died in the same year, their deaths were spread out. I had grown up with these snakes and had them for years. -
My grandma Barb died.
This was my moms mom, who had lived with us for about 2 years. My sister and I were very close to her, and she often brought us to do things with her. -

My dads girlfriend works at goodwill and had to promote the back to school shopping there. For years her kids and I would go on tv modeling an outfit she put together from Goodwill. -
I bought my own dog
This was the first time my parents thought that I was responsible enough to take care of my own dog. She was about 12 weeks old when we first got her. -
I fractured my vertebrae.
I still don't remember how, I fractured my c7 vertebrae. This type of fracture is often called a 'clay digger' fracture. -
I joined All-star cheer
Although I had done school cheer years before, I decided I wanted a more competitive and serious competitive sport. I joined a first-year gym (now in its second year) called Hit Force. -
I got my Drivers License
After waiting for years, I finally got my drivers license and my own car! I now am able to be responsible for where I need to be and when, and I have the ability to go places alone. -
Moved into a new house
After years of my dad and his girlfriend dating, they all decided to move in together!
