Monica and Chandler meet
Monica and Chandler catch eyes at a local country concert. Chandler, being the southern boy that he is, introduced himself to Monica right away. They start talking about where they are from and where they went to school (Monica is very attracted to the fact that Chandler went to Notre Dame) and soon find out that they are a perfect fit for one another. It is love at first sight. -
She says YES!
Chandler proposes to Monica at the concert ground where they first met. As he gets down on one knee, Monica starts to cry and knows that this will be a moment that she remembers for the rest of her life. She instantly says "yes!" and he puts a brilliant diamond ring on her finger. -
Monica and Chandler are married
Monica and Chandler get married at the beautiful Catholic church in Chicago, IL that they have attended together since they first met. It is a perfect service and everyone has a great time at the reception! It is a day that they will cherish forever with all of their family and friends. -
Monica and Chandler try for their first child
Monica and Chandler decide that after three years they are ready to try for their first child. Who would have known they would soon have a beautiful baby girl, Phoebe! -
Monica and Chandler have their first child
Phoebe is born full term weighing 7 pounds and 8 ounces. Mom and baby are both doing very well and Monica is very happy about how smooth the pregnancy and birth went! She cannot wait to experience motherhood for the first time! -
Monica and Chandler have their second child
Monica and Chandler have their second child, a baby boy! Joey is born at 3:15 a.m. (it was a long night!) and was 8 pounds 3 ounces. Mom is doing well and both her and Chandler are very excited that their surprise was a boy! -
Monica and Chandler have their third child
Welcome to the world Rachel! Monica and Chandler decided that they were going to find out the sex of their third child so they knew that it was going to be a girl and could not be more excited! Rachel weighed 8 pounds 10 ounces and was the first child born with long, dark hair! Everyone is doing very well (especially Phoebe who is excited to finally have a baby sister!) -
Monica and Chandler get pregnant with their final child
Monica and Chandler decide that they want to try one last time for a child. They are hoping for a boy so that their family will be equal but soon find out that they are going to having another girl. They are both very accepting of the sex of the child and cannot wait to have another baby in the house! They also soon realize that with three young children and another on the way that family dinners will start to become even more hectic! -
Monica and Chandler welcome their last child into the world
Janice is finally born at 5:30 a.m. after several hours of pushing and complications. When Monica was in the last stages of pushing, the doctor realized that Janice was a BIG baby (10 pounds 4 ounces) and that he was going to have trouble getting her out. The doctor ended up having to cut Monica (giving her a fourth degree laceration) to get baby Janice out. Monica is glad that this is her last child because she never wants to experience anything like that ever again! -
Family moves into new home
Monica and Chandler decide it is time to upgrade and move into a bigger home. After searching for many months and putting their home on the market, they find the house of their dreams. They move in and have never been more happy! They love all of the space and especially the bigger yard for the kids to play in! -
Monica starts new full time job as a consultant
After being a stay-at-home mother for 10 years, Monica decides that she wants to start working and earning a paycheck. Monica gets her first job as a consultant and could not be more excited to be busy doing her own thing again! -
Monica switches to part-time work
Monica soon finds out that it is tough working full time with four children and decides to go to part-time work. She realizes that part-time is much better for her family and she still gets to earn a paycheck and have time for herself and her children. -
Phoebe starts getting sick during the day
Phoebe starts throwing up multiple times throughout the day, getting frequent headaches, and constantly being constipated. She goes to the doctor and they start to do different tests to see what is going on. Monica and Chandler try not to worry too much but none of their children have been sick before or had any medical problems (except for Rachel getting an ear infection) so they do not know exactly how to handle it. -
Phoebe makes the highschool swim team
Phoebe decides to persue her love for swimming and tries out for the high school swimming team. She makes the team and could not be more excited! Now comes the three times a week of lifting and 16 plus hours of practice!!! -
Phoebe starts public highschool
Phoebe strarts not only her first day of highschool, but also her first day at public school! After attending Catholic School all of her life, she is excited (and a bit nervous!) to attend Public School for the very first time. She is trying not to be nervous because she knows several of the people from sports that she plays but it is a much bigger school so it will take some getting used to! -
Phoebe goes to Childrens Hospital
Chandler and Monica find out about Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin and decide to see a doctor there due to having several bad experiences at their hospital in Chicago. Phoebe finds out that she will be getting an EGD, Antroduodenal Manometry, and a Rectal Manometry to try and figure out what has been going on. They will eagerly be waiting for the results so that Phoebe can start feeling better and start being able to keep all of her food down without throwing up three to four times a day. -
Monica becomes coach
Monica decides that she wants to get more involved in her children's lives and applies to be the Middle School Volleyball coach! She get's the job and instantly falls in love with coaching volleyball! She also likes being able to see her children more and even coach her own children!
