    A television is an electronic system that transmits transient images of fixed or moving objects with an audio and was developed in 1941. The television is often used for leisure and entertainment or for gathering information by means of news reports and documentaries.

    Yahoo! Messenger
    Yahoo! Messenger is an instant messaging site provided by Yahoo. This application allows users to chat, send photos, files and voicemails to each other and video chat through a webcam. Personally, Yahoo! Messenger was the very first messaging application that I've used to talk to my uncle and it is, no doubt, fun to use because you can send other people audibles (talking emoticons).

    A laptop, or also known as a notebook, is a portable personal computer that was developed in 1970s. Laptops are commonly used in work, school, internet surfing, playing games, multimedia or general home computer use.

    During the early days, radios were used to pass orders and communicate between navies and armies. Today, radios are often used for entertainment as commercial radio broadcasts include news, music, dramas, and comedies.
  • Desktop Computers

    Desktop Computers
    Desktop Computers are like laptops, however, you cannot bring them around due to its size and power requirements. I remember using our desktop computer often to play games with my brother when I was still a kid.

    A telephone or commonly known as a phone is a telecommunications device wherein two or more people can conduct a conversation. A telephone can be referred as an old fashion mobile phone since it can only help in communicating by means of phone calls or voice messages. This can usually be seen in houses or offices to communicate with people far from the said area.

    A newspaper is a publication that contains news about current events such as sports, politics, and local and international news. Newspapers developed in the 17th century and were used as information sheets. Nowadays, most newspapers are posted online (news websites) as well as in print or the traditional ones.

    Friendster is a social networking site that was founded by Jonathan Abrams, a Canadian computer programmer, in 2002. Friendster allows users to post photos, their information and also add a background music to listen to when one visits their profile. Friendster works just like Facebook, but with Friendster, you can see who views or visits your profile. So unfortunately, you can't stalk your crush!

    Facebook is an online social media and a social networking service that was launched last 2004. This site or application can be accessed by a wide range of computers, laptops, and mobile phones through the internet. Through Facebook, one can add other users as their "Friends", send messages, post status updates, photos and videos. This site has helped people, including me, to reach to a larger audience when it comes to advertising as well as communicating.
  • Mobile Phones

    Mobile Phones
    A mobile phone is a portable telephone that can receive both text messages and phone calls. In accordance with the advancement in technology, mobile phones were transformed into smartphones because of its ability to access internet, short range wireless connections (Bluetooth or Airdrop) and gaming.
  • Twitter

    Twitter
    Just like Facebook, Twitter is a social media platform where users can post and interact with one another. However, in their posts or "tweets" they are restricted to 140 characters. Twitter was launched last 2006 and as of 2017, over 300 million users are active every month. (Imagine how big the Twitter community is!)

    YouTube is a video-sharing site that was created in February 2005. YouTube allows users to upload, view, rate and comment on videos and subscribe to other YouTubers. Fun fact: When a Youtuber reaches a specific milestone, he or she is awarded with a YouTube Play Button (a silver, gold, diamond and ruby play button will be given to a YouTuber who will be surpassing a certain number of subscribers).
  • OHP and LCD Projectors

    OHP and LCD Projectors
    OHP or Overhead Projector is a slide projector that is used to display texts or images to an audience. I personally used this in school during reports as visual aids. However, with the help of technological advancements, LCD Projectors are now used to show a presentation by connecting a laptop to a projector that shall flash it on the screen for the audience to see.

    Instagram is a photo sharing application wherein it allows users to upload photos or videos either publicly or privately depending on the preference of the user. It was launched on 2010 exclusively for iOS operating system and became available to Android after two years. Since this application is being used by a lot of people, retailers often sell their products here to reach to a larger number of consumers that is why "instagram shops" became really popular and abundant.
  • Tumblr

    Tumblr is a microblogging and a social networking site founded by David Karp in 2007. This site allows users to post and share photos, gifs, quotes and videos by "reblogging" that will make them appear on others' Dashboard to reach to a larger audience.
  • WeChat

    WeChat
    WeChat is a mobile application software that was developed by Tencent, a Chinese investment holding company, and was launched in 2011. WeChat supports different ways of messaging that include text message, voice message, walkie talkie, voice records, stickers and even video chat.
  • Snapchat

    Snapchat
    Snapchat is an image messaging and multimedia mobile application that was released last 2011. This application is probably one of the most famous applications nowadays because of the trend "Snapstreak" wherein you can see how long you have been sending a snap with a friend. Aside from this, you can be updated with certain topics through the Discover tab which includes some parts of magazines like Vogue, Cosmopolitan, People and even learn some recipes by watching Tastemade's videos.

    Facebook Messenger probably is the most used and famous messaging application as of 2017. This application was originally developed as Facebook Chat and was revamped in 2010 formally releasing it to the public in 2011. Through this application, users can easily communicate with other people by means of private messaging, voice messaging, video call, link sharing and other forms of communication.

    WordPress is an open source project that started in 2003. This blogging system lets you connect with the community by posting a blog (which consists of your thoughts and opinions) that can be criticized or commented by your readers.
