His career
He officially commenced his career as a writer of stores for the mass magazines for example like Saturday Evening Post and that was his best story market. -
After the army
When Fitzgerald was discharged from the army he went to New York to seek order to marry Zelda but she broke off the engagement after not wanting to live off of his small salary. -
Quitting his job
Fitzgerald quit his job and returned to St. Paul to rewrite his novel as “This side of paradise” which is mainly set at Princeton and follows the life of Amory Blaine. His novel was accepted by edition maxwell Perkins of scribners in September. -
After His Book Was Published
After his book was published he married Zelda in New York. They moved to New York City where Scott wrote his second book. -

Zelda became pregnant and it motivated them to go to St. Paul for the birth of their child -

The Fitzgerald‘s moved to Great Neck Long Island because they wanted to be near broadway because Fitzgerald wrote a play called “The Vegetable”. Sadly the play failed at the tryouts. -
“The Great Gatsby”
The Fitzgerald’s went to France in the spring because that was where The Great Gatsby was written. -
Revising The Great Gatsby
F Scott revised in the winter when he was in Rome. The family was on the way to Paris when the novel was published. His achievement received critical praise. -
Paris
Fitzgerald’s achievement was praised as well but the sales of the novel was disappointing so the Fitzgerald’s stayed in France till the end of the years. -
Heading back to America
F Scott wanted to escape the distractions of France and just wanted to continue writing his novels so he decided to take his family back to America where they rented a mansion for 2 years . -
Returning back to Paris
When Zelda started doing ballet, they went back to Paris in the spring where her ballet training hurt her health.
