    The Articles of Confederation was the first government of the United States it was very loose as the Americans were trying to prevent tyranny, this government couldn't even collect taxes.

    Though the Articles of Confederation was weak it was still approved by the Americans as they were preventing tyranny.

    Shays' Rebellion

    Shay's Rebellion was a war in Massachusetts led by Daniel Shay. He started the war because he was against the high taxes and the Articles of Confederation. Shay's rebellion is so important as it made people realize how weak the central government is.

    The Northwest Ordinance made the government for the northwest territory and it was the only helpful thing the Articles of Confederation did. The Northwest Ordinance also outlined the process of admitting a new state.

    The Election of 1800 was the election between Jefferson and Burr v. Adams. Burr and Jefferson defeated Adams but they tied with each other a couple of times. After the deliberation in the house Jefferson was elected. The election of 1800 was the first peaceful transition of power with no violence from the federalist party to the democratic republicans.

    The Democratic Party was created by Andrew Jackson and Martin Van Buren. The Democratic Party was created after the end of the democratic republican party which ended in 1828.

    Andrew Jackson was the 7th president of the U.S. Jackson was all about democratic values to the white common men. He didn't pursue that many democratic values as he went against his own words and lied to his people.

    The Indian Removal Act was a law that was created by Jackson, that made the president be able to force the Natives to move west. The Natives wouldn't agree to this so they had to trick the Natives with a treaty to get them to move.
