Lief was sailing to Greenland when very strong winds nocked him of course. He ended up landing in the North American coast. Lief and his crew landed on the Labrador Peninsula in present-day Canada. -

Columbus had three ships the Nina, Pinta, and the Santa Maria. finally they landed in the Bahamas. Columbus had thought that he had found a new route to Asia but he did not. After he returned a few more times. He died thinking he was in Asia. -

Ferdinand was going for the coast of South America. Once he got there he kept on going though he was very low on supplies. Then he landed in the Philippines. He was killed there in a battle between them and the natives. Although one ship with only 18 men made it back to potugal. they were the first ones to circumnavigate the world. -

Alvar Nunez Cabeza De Vaca.
De Vaca led 300 men to the Florida coast. They started to have severe losses of food. They kept on going untill a huge storm came and killed everyone exept de Vaca and three other men. The four survivors were captured for six years then excaped. Then he finally made it back and wrote a book on the expieriences.
